These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are between you and ROLE UP ("RoleUp", "we", "us"), the seller and operator of the RoleUp service. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.

RoleUp is an AI-assisted job application tool for people applying for jobs in Belgium. It analyses a job vacancy against your CV and profile and generates a match report, a tailored CV draft, a cover letter draft, skills guidance, and interview preparation material. Some features are free; full application packs are unlocked per purchase or through a monthly subscription.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; when you cancel you keep subscriber benefits until the end of the paid billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as your CV); you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you.

You must not misuse the service. In particular you must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, or upload content you have no right to use.
• Interfere with the service's security, probe or scan it, introduce malware, or scrape it.
• Reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the service.
• Use the AI features to generate illegal content, hate speech, deepfakes, or to attempt to bypass the model's safeguards.

Match reports, tailored CVs, cover letters and interview materials are generated by AI based on the information you provide. You are responsible for your inputs, for how you use the outputs, and for verifying their accuracy before submitting them to an employer. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not professional, legal, immigration, or career advice; visa and work-permit information is general guidance only. RoleUp instructs the AI not to invent experience, but you remain responsible for the truthfulness of any document you send.

We may moderate content, refuse or filter outputs, and remove content that violates these Terms. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and take it down where appropriate; repeated infringement may lead to account termination.

We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, design and RoleUp branding. These Terms grant you no rights to them except the limited licence in section 2.

We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your right to use the service stops; you may request an export of your data before deletion as described in our Privacy Notice.

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction over disputes. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
